Hi, I’m Suze.
I’m a British-born music executive based in Brooklyn, NY.
I’ve been instrumental in the development of the independent label, Mixpak, working across artist development, A&R, and strategy with artists such as Popcaan, Mr Eazi, Davido, Vybz Kartel, Bad Gyal, Jubilee, Palmistry and SOPHIE. I even led a team to sound clash victory in front of an audience of over one million.
My work centres on how music circulates through scenes, institutions and technology, and how artists and ideas can be developed with long-term cultural impact in mind.
Alongside label work, I’ve led and contributed to campaigns, events and collaborations with organizations like MoMA PS1, Amazon Music, Boiler Room, The Barbican, OVO Sound, Sony Music.
I also DJ as The Large, have a monthly radio residency on NTS, and I publish a regular newsletter called Sound + Vision.
For project inquiries, collaborations or speaking opportunities, please get in touch.
